old art how exciting i will surely not regret this later

so let me give you some context: 722 was my baby from fifth grade until whenever i ended up abandoning the idea (high school someplace). it was about ... a million things, but mostly psych patients, disease, war, teen angst, and desu.

so daniel started out as psychalgia... i totally have a drawing of him from fifth grade, but we're not going there. this is my seventh grade revamp. he was still freaky and skinny, but he was also a weird fox thing and also a soldier... sort of. his other character traits were that he had none (especially not a personality) except being gay because i was edgy or something uhhhh

the girl is dal and she was my protagonist, but i actually found her pretty boring, so i'm not entirely sure why i kept her around so long!

EDGY RAPE SUBPLOTS. fugue was pretty much in there just to get tortured for a few years (after derping around with the protag a bit). i miss writing the soldier that creeped on him though because i am a huge creep i guess

i had more, but my stupid self only brought one sketchbook home, so.

characters for my comic about burlesque and relationships and psychology and stuff (the working title of which being "that stripper comic thing"):

elias jäger (fugue)... there are a bunch of things wrong with this but whatever. i just shoved him into a traditional boylesque outfit... he wears weird leotard things most of the stage time and, while shiny, they are not that exciting to draw. also, baby fugue after getting punched in the face and some very nice advice from my illustration teacher.

daniel dahlquist and some crazy eel apparition things. i have no idea what is going on with his stage thing. it is very silly. also he was also reading as sephiroth at first glance for a while (chantal thought so too). it was terrible.

lee wakefield, the last addition to the team. she doubles as the super girly one and the drag king. her face is kinda hard for me still but the profile one is almost exactly want i want. also, she and daniel have a (relatively) tall crossdresser platonic love connection and it is beautiful.

okay, i lied, there is an ilse, but her facial features are completely wrong, so it doesn't really count. same with dan really, but the hot pink blood is completely canon, i assure you.
